Service to register a change in circumstances
My life event was a new functionality in the Benify platform to adapt to the international market. Entering a new market with this functionality UX resources were involved to conduct research and investigate the user needs. This product faced two target groups, end-users; to register changes in circumstances, and administrators; to handle and approve requested registrations.

PROCESS
DISCOVER
To understand user needs, surveys were used together with interviews to collect feedback in two different ways. From the surveys, we could collect many answers in a quick way, but we could also get an average score of a basic version of this function that this project was going to replace. We could understand the biggest pain points of the current function and we could discover gaps in the functionality that was missing. From the interviews, we could get a deep knowledge of the users' needs and the process they needed to complete to accomplish the task using the current function at the time.
DESIGN AND CROSS-TEAM COLLABORATION
Based on the user research the design process started out with the aim to solve the main issues and the biggest pain points. The project group worked simultaneously with building the tech foundation as I created the user flow, the design and all interactions. STAKEHOLDER WALKTHROUGH
Regularly during the development, we held stakeholder meetings and stakeholder walkthroughs of the current state of the product in order to easily adapt, adjust and improve the product during the development phase.

END-USER EXPERIENCE
This product is two-ended; it has one design for the employees logging into the platform to register a change in circumstances, and the admin experience; where administrators can audit and manage the requests. The scope of this project made the number of use cases enormous and working with this was very educational and gave me the opportunity to learn about markets, users and cross-team collaboration.

ADMIN FUNCTIONALITY
It is not unusual that Benify's clients have different needs and therefore all products that are being built need various configuration possibilities for administrators to manage. This was a part of the admin experience in this product.


DOCUMENTATION
When developing new products the knowledge of how to use them needs to reach all users who will come in contact with them in an easy and efficient way. This product overview will outlay the key steps in the process of creating and managing life events so that the product can be communicated and understood by everyone.
